Glasgow hipster bar pleads with customers to stop swiping glasses

A west end bar is pleading with punters to stop pinching items while on nights out.

The Hillhead Bookclub , a popular student spot, are well known for their eclectic interiors and quirky cocktails.

The hipster haunt typically serves up mojito cocktails in skull-shaped glassware. That’s right, the glasses are shaped like heids. Welcome to the west end.

But the bar has now launched an urgent appeal, after realising that sticky-fingered customers were stealing from the glasses after one too many.

The Bookclub posted a missing poster on their Facebook page, which read: “Hillhead Bookclub skull glasses last seen at hhbc chilling.

“Generous* reward for their return. *That’s a lie, but gonna stop stealing our glasses.”

The G1 group bar then added: “Bring back our glasses. We are launching an appeal to bring our glasses home.

“We all know that after a few mojitos it can seem like a good idea to stick a nice skull glass in yer bag, but the next morning all you are going to feel is regret.

“Bring them back plz, we miss them and just want to serve tasty cocktails in them.”

You heard them, folks! Next time, BYOG if you feel like taking something home.
