A Glaswegian gran struck gold after scooping a £20,000 jackpot at the bingo.
Elizabeth Wilkie, a regular at Buzz Bingo in Possilpark, had a stroke of luck to kickstart the new decade as she took home £20,122,21 in winnings.
The generous grandmother immediately booked a holiday for herself and her family – and she will be sharing the remaining cash with her sister, children and grandchildren.
Elizabeth won the jackpot on the number 55 while playing at her local club on a 'Double Number Jackpot' – a link game between clubs nationwide.
The Double Number Jackpot is a Link Game where Buzz Bingo clubs play join up to play together for the chance to win bigger prizes. To win the Double Number Jackpot, players must call Full House on a double number, such as 11, 22, or 33.
