Glasgow gran makes 'tiny planets' out of George Square, Finnieston Crane and other landmarks

A Glasgow gran has shared her newest works of art, which turn city landmarks into 'tiny planets'.

Susan Casey has so far managed to make Glasgow Central Station, Cathkin Braes, the Finnieston Crane, Glasgow suspension bridge and other iconic landmarks into their own little orbits.

Susan told us the camera takes the picture into 360 degree images before putting the pictures through an app that makes them into the tiny planets.

The picture is fitted around the frame, making a usually flat or square ground seem round.

Glasgow Central Station is it's own tiny planet. (Susan Casey)

She said: "The camera screws onto an extended pole, and something in the software makes the pole invisible, so you never see the pole.

"I am just learning, and look what I can do already".

As well as her pictures, Susan even managed to take a video of herself and her granddaughter singing in their local park in the Gorbals although said they look like "a couple of munchkins".
