Last week, we brought you what could be deemed the ultimate curer for a rough morning with Maggie May's hangover breakfast burger.
Stuffed full of the best Scottish ingredients such as homemade square sausage and black pudding fritter, we're fairly certain Glaswegians were rushing to place their orders this Sunday morning.
Yet, just a few days after Friday's story, we already have another contender to the throne of our city's best hangover meal. That's because new Merchant City pizza place Nonna Said is serving up a mouthwatering new dish - the McHangover pizza.
The creation of Nonna Said Head Chef Ryan Burns, it's topped with generous servings of pork sausage, bacon, American cheese and complete with a fried egg, pictures of the feast have us licking our lips this Monday morning.
And, if you need to double down in a bid to cure that fuzzy head, they've put together a complementary cocktail to soothe those morning after aches and pains as well.
General Manager, Graeme Moffat, said: “The McHangover does exactly what it says, we’ve tried and tested it! We’ve had lots of enquiries on Instagram about it and it's super busy with bookings.
"Look out for the new Nonna’s original McHangover cocktail which is 'shaken up to waken up’ with gin, whisky, lemon juice and Irn-Bru, all designed to refresh and renew!".
So, what do we think? In the battle of Glasgow's best hangover cures, are you going for the burger or the pizza? Let us know in the comments.
