A number of areas including the surroundings of Glasgow flats have been cordoned off by police amid reports of a serious incident.
Images shared to social media show a large police presence at flats in Sandyhill as well as armed police in attendance. Residents have also reportedly been prevented from entering the buildings.
Areas allegedly cordoned off include the entrance to a block of flats, the park in front of the flats and the lane between the flats and nearby shops.

Glasgow Live have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
