Glasgow fish and chips restaurant CATCH launch brand new vegan menu

One of Glasgow's most popular chippies has opened its doors even further to non-meat eaters.

CATCH, which has locations in the west end, Giffnock, and Netherlee, has announced a brand new vegan menu - so those that do not eat animal products don't have to be deprived of fish and chips.

And what's more, the menu sounds downright delicious, with everything from a vegan version of the classic fish and chips, to chicken strips, prawn tempura, sausages and burgers.

CATCH explained that the reason behind the new menu was the level of demand for the vegan dishes already available.

New menu items include the southern fried stack burger - southern fried vegan chicken, garlic mayo, crispy onions, onion rings and vegan bacon crumbs in a vegan brioche bun.

And while the menu already has plenty of delicious-sounding items available, the team has promised the menu will be expanded further.
