Glasgow fire crews called to blaze near Kelvingrove Park as Range Rover engulfed in flames

Fire crews raced to a quiet residential street in the west end after a car went up in flames in the early hours.

The burning vehicle was spotted by locals on Claremont Terrace next to Kelvingrove Park in the Park area around 1:40am this morning.

An eyewitness was able to capture the moment firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, which had engulfed a Range Rover parked in the street outside and which was sending smoke billowing into the sky.

The eyewitness also reported to Glasgow Live that they saw a second car burning nearby.
