Glasgow fans of The Chase could land £1K a month to watch TV for a living

One lucky Glasgow resident could be in with the chance of scoring some cash by watching quiz shows for an online gaming website, with all expenses paid!

PlatinCasino.co.uk is looking to hire a ‘Game Show Analyst’ for an initial period of 12 weeks, to watch various game and quiz shows and report back with notes to guide content for the gaming site’s new entertainment blog.

Over a three-month period, the new game show expert will be expected to watch at least 10 programmes like The Wheel, Pointless, and The Chase, in a month, and report their findings back to their new boss at the Platin Casino website.

The successful candidate will need to note down tactics that specific show contestants might be applying, the attitudes and mindset that players may display, new game show ‘hacks’, and general knowledge questions that might crop up.

In the initial three-month trial period, the successful applicant will be paid £1,000 per month, as well as any payment for necessary subscription services, and TV licence fees.

There is no professional experience required, but entrants must be aged 18 or over, and it is preferred that the applicant already has an interest in quiz and game shows.

The only thing you need is a pen, some paper, and a device to watch the shows on!

A spokesperson at PlatinCasino.co.uk, said, “Game and quiz shows are some of the most popular TV programmes on air - you only need to look at audience rates and the variety of shows out there to tell you that.

"Given the appetite for people watching and wanting to be a contestant on the shows, we were intrigued to see if there is a pattern in the type of people who win and lose, as well as see if there is any set formula to the kinds of questions being asked in general.

“While it would be easy enough for the team here to work on this project, we thought it would be a great opportunity for a fan of these shows to earn a little extra money doing something they enjoy!

"We hope to see some really insightful content into how we can all use the mindset of a quizzer to succeed.

"So, if you’re an avid Chaser or Wheel watcher then please take a chance and apply to be our ‘Game Show Analyst’.”

Applications close on Sunday, February 20, so Glasgow residents better be quick if they want a slice of the game show action!
