With Halloween on hold for 2020, creative families are finding ways to celebrate the scariest time of year - all in the spirit of community.
Home decor for Halloween is a huge hit this year as people aim to cheer up their neighbourhoods with ghoulish ornaments and terrible trimmings.
And there are certainly lots of retailers hopping on the runaway bandwagon, with the likes of eBay, Wilko, B&M, The Range, Home Bargains and Amazon stocking lots of demonic decorations.
One family in Glasgow's south side have already set up a spooky show outside their house, and images of the spider siege are being shared all over social media.
But surprisingly, the professional looking display has been done on a shoe string - with the giant arachnids scaling the house costing just £5 from Wilko.
Other terrifying features include a hand rising from the ground with a sign begging 'Help Me!', which although utterly hideous, is just £4 from B&M.
Also haunting the house are some menacing skeletons draped in black - a mere £5.49 from Amazon.
The Anderson family has carefully staged their terrifying takeover to bring a little community spirit to their local area.
Mum Elaine explained that the idea was to make up for the lack of trick or treating this year, and to entertain the local children.
She said: "We have never decorated the house before but with COVID there will be no guising this year, so we decided to do something for the kids on the street.
"My husband, our three boys Oliver, Max and Sam and I did it all on Saturday morning.
"Our neighbours love it and have come to see it over the weekend, and we've had a lot of cars drive past too."
Other top destinations for cool Halloween decor include Not On The High Street, Lights4Fun, and John Lewis.
