Glasgow event will see Prince fans boogie to classic tracks in Queen's Park tribute gig

Are you looking anywhere to have a boogie safely? Have you been listening to Prince throughout lockdown on loop? You're in luck.

Let's Go Back are staging an outdoor tribute to music legend Prince in Queen's Park this August.

All the Prince classics played by the world's top tribute act Mark Anthony and full live band - including Purple Rain, Raspberry Beret and When Doves Cry.

Mark Anthony made history by being the first tribute artist to ever appear on Top of the Pops.

Disco DJ’S JungleHussi, Let's Go Back and Pearl Necklace will also be playing.

The event is planned for Saturday, August 21 at 5pm.

The info reads: "Get Ready to Dance! Let's Go Crazy!

"Let's Go Back presents PRINCE’S PURPLE DISCO in the PARK, a stunning DISCO Tribute to the legendary star.
Set in the stunning backdrop of Queens Park.

"Featuring the world's number 1 Prince tribute Mark Anthony’s mind blowing tribute show.

"Backed by the the funkiest musicians, Dj’s and dancers, you will be partying like it's 1999!

"Get ready for the Funk, the Glamour and Glitz as only Prince can do.

"All the classics, Kiss, 1999, Get Off, When Doves Cry & Purple Rain.

"Plus we’ve got the hottest Disco Dj’s

"Let's Go Back
JungleHussi
Pearl Necklace."

The event is covid safe, but if it has to be moved due to Covid issues the organisers say they will carry the ticket automatically over to a new rescheduled date or you can obtain a full refund - the choice is yours.
