Glasgow east end pub fire sparks emergency service response

Fire crews were called to the scene of a blaze at a pub in the east end of Glasgow in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services received a report of a fire at the Dalmarnock Inn on Old Dalmarnock Road at around 6.15am.

Police Scotland confirmed officers remain at the scene.

Details of the fire and any potential injuries are unknown at this time and Glasgow Live have contacted the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for comment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.15am on Monday, 3 January, officers were called to a report of a fire at a building on Old Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow.

"Officers are at the scene."
