Glasgow dog owner makes desperate appeal to find lost mini dachshund

A heartbroken dog owner has made an urgent appeal to find her mini dauchaund, who went missing from Strathclyde Country Park yesterday.

Alessia Marini's dog Mia ran off in the park at around 5pm last night (October 24).

Now, she is appealing for help in bringing lost pup home.

She said: "I’m absolutely heart broken beyond words.

"She ran off in Strathclyde Country Park - apparently two girls might have seen her in the housing estate behind the park towards Bellshill."

"If anyone does find her, I would ask them to be super quiet and not chase or scream on her, be gentle and grab her if they can.

"If they do please contact 07896648608 or 07776232482."
