Glasgow doctors' surgery in urgent call for help amid coronavirus crisis

A doctors' surgery in the east end of Glasgow has put out an urgent call out for help amid the coronavirus crisis.

Drs Connaughton and Sudomir GP practice, based within Bridgeton Health Centre, is looking for someone to help with duties including reception work and cleaning rooms.

The temporary (paid) role, posted on jobs website Indeed, is for the the "next two to three months" as the surgery copes "with the coronavirus difficulties".

The job advert also warns any potential suitors that "you will likely be exposed to the coronavirus at some point".

It reads: "We are looking for help over the next two to three months as we cope with the coronavirus difficulties .

"We need someone who can be flexible about their hours between 08:30 and 18:00 currently Monday to Friday.

"The duties will include reception work and helping clean rooms.

"You will likely be exposed to the coronavirus at some point".

The position has a salary of £9.50 per hour.
