Glasgow Deliveroo rider finds 'secret garden' in Merchant City

Another of Glasgow's 'secret gardens' has been uncovered by the 'Glasgow Deliveroo Rider'.

We've previously featured the cyclist on our website, who has helped unearth a number of hidden gems on his journeys delivering takeaways across the city.

And his latest discovery has been found in the heart of Glasgow in an iconic Merchant City building.

On a recent delivery job he found the building, on Ingram Street, is not just home to several high-end flats, but also a beautiful secret sun-trap, hidden well out of view from the busy surrounding streets.

Posting on his Twitter account, which gives 'the (unofficial) view from a Glasgow Deliveroo rider's saddle', he shared photos of the hidden space and commented: "This was a treat! I love finding a 'secret' garden! My first delivery to flats at the old sheriff court, Ingram Street. The entrance area is not too shabby either."

In July, the Glaswegian shared his snaps of a similar secret oasis, just off Buchanan Street, a place largely unbeknown to the dozens of shoppers and commuters passing through the city centre.
