A popular south side cafe and deli has announced it will be closing next week.
The owners of La Mediterranea have said they will be closing for good on May 30 - but have promised that something else exciting is in the works.
The family-run deli and coffee shop on Kilmarnock Road has become popular for its Mediterranean menu since opening in May last year.

Posting on social media, they said: "It is with heavy hearts we have to announce La Mediterranea will be closing as of Monday 30th May.
"We have an exciting new venture coming in the next few months and will be putting all our energy into this. We want to thank all our customers for their support over the last year, as it has been much appreciated.
"Pop in and see us this weekend to say bye! We hope to see you in our new place also….watch this space for the exciting news coming in the coming months
"Ciao for now, Team La Med."
As much as we'll miss this place, we can't wait to see what the team has up their sleeve for their next venture.
