Glasgow damp weather Met Office forecast as rain to stay but temperatures over 20C

Glasgow's weather has been slightly unpredictable over the last few days with a mixture of sunshine and rain.

And despite the rain, it hasn't left us feeling any cooler with many of us still sweating away even with the sun hiding behind the clouds.

Despite the last few weeks being nothing but glorious sunshine, this is all changing with rain on its way.

So what's Glasgow's weather forecast for the week ahead?

The Met Office has said that whilst the sun will stay out, we will see more rain this week than many of us want.

Here is what the Met Office say each day looks like this week:

  • Monday (June 19): Light rain and sunny intervals by early evening. Highs of 21C and lows of 15C.
  • Tuesday (June 20): Cloudy changing to light showers by early evening. Highs of 21C and lows of 14C.

  • Wednesday (June 21): Cloudy changing to light showers by late morning. Highs of 20C and lows of 12C.

  • Thursday (June 22): Sunny. Highs of 21C and lows of 14C.

  • Friday (June 23): Cloudy changing to light rain by night-time. Highs of 22C and lows of 17C.

The BBC adds: "Wednesday morning will be mostly dry and partly cloudy. However, scattered showers will develop around the middle of the day, these falling heavy and thundery for some. Thursday looks to be a drier and brighter day, and a few isolated showers are also likely in the afternoon. Friday is expected to see a cloudier, windy day, along with a few spells of rain through the day."
