Glasgow Dalmarnock Station services disrupted due to police incident

A fire alarm stopped trains running through Dalmarnock station in Glasgow earlier this evening.

Bosses at Scotrail took to social media to alert passengers to the disruptions shortly before 8pm.

They wrote: "We've received reports of the fire alarm sounding at Dalmarnock station, for safety reasons, trains are currently unable to call at Dalmarnock."

They later updated writing: "CLEARED: Disruption caused by the fire alarm sounding at Dalmarnock has now ended. Services are no longer affected by this problem."
