Glasgow cosplayer uses Ghostbuster alter-ego to cheer up locals on daily walk

A Glasgow cosplayer has been using his skills to cheer up locals and raise awareness of the work of NHS staff and keyworkers.

Stuart Cherry has become a popular figure in Shawlands and Giffnock where he has been patrolling the streets dressed as a Ghostbuster during his daily walks.

Locals have been stopping to take pictures of the 'CherryBomb' cosplayer, cheering him from their windows and thanking them for entertaining their kids.

Stuart is part of a Ghostbusters of Glasgow cosplay group that uses their love of the film to raise money for charity through appearances.

He told Glasgow Live : "I love everything Star Wars and Ghostbusters.

"My autism obsessions give me capabilities to make Ghostbusters and Jedi cosplay.

"I've been using my daily walks to promote NHS and keyworkers but I've been taking the rules of Covid-19 seriously, I've had to walk to places that are safe and isolated with not a lot people around but I've been making people happy from 2 meter distance."

Who you gonna call? Stuart Cherry, of course!
