Glasgow cops probing unprovoked attack outside pub release CCTV image of teen

Police in Glasgow probing an unprovoked attack on a man outside a city centre pub have released a CCTV image of a man they are eager to identify.

They believe the man may be able to assist them with their enquiries in relation to the serious assault, which took place outside O’Neill’s on Union Street on Friday, April 29 around 9:55pm.

The victim, a 34-year-old man, was standing outside the pub when he was assaulted by an unknown male.

Officers wish to trace the man shown in the image. He is described as a white male, slim build, late teens, white trainers, blue jogging bottoms, grey hooded top with hood up and a baseball cap underneath, wearing a small over shoulder bag.

Detective Constable Neil Bonsor, Greater Glasgow CID, said: “As part of the investigation, we are eager to identify the man in the CCTV footage and would urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch with police.”
