Calling all coffee lovers! You are cordially invited to Glasgow’s biggest coffee party which is returning for its sixth year next month.
Running from May 8-9, Glasgow’s Coffee Festival will be showcasing Scotland’s speciality coffee culture once more.
Want to get involved? Glasgow Live is here to provide you with the ultimate guide to owning Scotland’s most popular coffee event.
Where is the Coffee Festival?
Glasgow’s Coffee Festival is being held at The Briggait and everyone is welcome to attend.
You heard us correctly, the festival is not being held online and will be operating alongside government guidelines to make sure everyone is safe together.
If you’re a coffee professional or just someone who had their first latte during lockdown, the festival is open to anyone from across the country. Under 12’s can even attend for free.
How do I get tickets?
This is a ticketed event and previous festivals have sold out, so you need to be as quick as possible to bag yourself a pass.
Tickets vary on which day and what time you want to go. For instance, a full weekend pass (09:30-18:00) will cost you £25 in total.
All ticket holders will also be entered into a prize draw for coffee equipment, a 1 year supply of coffee and one barista training session.
Find out more about tickets here.
What events are taking place?
Glasgow’s Coffee Festival is hosted by Dear Green Coffee Roasters and there is a wide range of activities and events for all things coffee.
Multiple independent and local coffee businesses will be making an appearance to showcase their latest skills and passions - so expect to see a lot of roasted beans and more caffeinated deals than you can handle.
There will also be masterclasses, presentations from roasteries, product demos, art, film and so much more. You can even roast your own beans and try out the latest coffee kit.
Make sure you bring your own reusable coffee cup with you into the venue as this is a disposable free cup event.
