Glasgow was filled with the sound of cheering and applause tonight as people paid tribute to our NHS workers amid the coronavirus crisis.
The Clap For Our Carers movement began as a viral post that did the rounds on social media, before being taken on by the whole country.
Thousands of people opened their windows, stepped onto their balconies and doorsteps across the city at 8pm tonight to thank NHS staff.
Videos show the entirety of Glasgow taking part in the heartfelt call.
Clap for Our Carers also has a website, comparing the movement to similar rounds of applause in Spain, France and the Netherlands.
We're always proud of our city - but you've outdone yourself tonight, Glasgow. Never, ever change.
