Leanne Crichton is hoping Motherwell and other sides in the Scottish Women's Premier League can help end her old club Glasgow City's dominance this season.
The 34-year-old joined the Steelwomen in the summer in a player/assistant manager role with Paul Brownlie's side and, as fate would have it, it's her former club Glasgow City up first when the SWPL1 season kicks-off this afternoon.
City have won an unprecedented 14 league titles in a row and, despite the likes of Hibs, Celtic and Rangers pushing them close, they are the team to beat once again.
And Crichton told the BBC she is relishing the opportunity to face the club she spent six years with over the course of three spells.

The former Scotland international, who is also now a respected BBC pundit, said: "It will be exciting. It's the first game of the season, so ultimately you are looking forward to it.
"I was never in doubt that when the fixture list came out that Glasgow City would be up there at the top of list, so it gets it out of the way nice and early.
"I think of the build-up that other people want to create around that, they can do that, but for me it'll be focusing on the preparation and trying to get the team in the best shape that we possibly can and be ready to go with the coaching staff that we've got.

"I think we are excited for the season and certainly to go and test yourself against the best team in the country is one way to start.
"I was Glasgow City for a hell of a long time and I think the one thing that frustrated you all the time was that Glasgow City were never seen as the favourites, even after their dominance for 14 seasons, so I don't think anybody can get away from the fact that they will be the favourites.
"It's their title and it's up to other teams around them to try and dislodge them.
"But for me as a Motherwell player, I'll be glad I'm sitting on the outside looking in now."
The clash is being shown live on the BBC Scotland Sport website, kick-off 1pm.
Hamilton Accies Women are also in action when they visit Hearts, kick-off 2pm.
