A Glasgow City footballer who sparked a search for her whereabouts after going missing has shared a heartfelt message from her hospital bed admitting "I'm struggling, and that's ok".
Clare Shine went missing in the Roslin area of Midlothian having been last seen around 9.30am yesterday morning - with her team taking to social media to appeal for help to trace her.
While her teammates also expressed their concern for the 25-year-old Irishwoman.
Thankfully, an update provided by Glasgow City at 7pm yesterday evening confirmed that they had "reassuring information" about her whereabouts and that she had assistance.
Around 10pm last night, Clare took to social media to update her followers.
Posting a photo on Twitter from her hospital bed, the footballer wrote: "Thank you everyone, I’m struggling and that’s okay. I’ll be back. Look after yourself."
