Glasgow City Council have released an urgent travel bulletin warning drivers in the city to exercise caution following the failure of at least 30 traffic lights in the city this afternoon.
The failures are as a result of power spikes caused by the adverse weather, according the council.
The council are advising that the lights failures across the city will be attended as soon as possible and switched back on once the weather allows.
In the meantime, road users are advised to exercise caution when approaching dark traffic signals.
