Glasgow City Council have announced their festive refuse collection dates.
Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays some people's bin collection dates will change.
And as a result, the council asking the public to note their revised collection dates below:
Blue Bins
Wednesday December 25 changed to Friday December 27
Thursday December 26 changed to Saturday December 28
Wednesday January 1 changed to Friday January 3
Thursday January 2 changed to Saturday January 4
Green and Brown Bin
Wednesday 25 December changed to Friday 27 December
Thursday 26 December changed to Saturday 28 December
Wednesday January 1 changed to Friday January 3
Thursday January 2 changed to Saturday January 4
Purple Bin
Wednesday December 25 changed to Friday December 27
Thursday December 26 changed to Saturday December 28
Wednesday January 1 changed to Friday January 3
Thursday January 2 changed to Saturday January 4
Meanwhile, for anyone with bulk excess waste, Glasgow's recycling centres will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day and close at 6pm (last entry at 5.45pm) on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
And in respect of disposing of real Christmas trees, the trees can be cut up in to manageable pieces and placed in the brown bin for kerbside collection.
Alternatively, trees can be taken to any of the council household waste recycling centres or to any of the following locations from January 3 to January 19:
Pollok Country Park, Burrell Car Park, Alexandra Park, off Alexandra Parade, car park next to the golf course. Kelvingrove Park, Kelvin Way, grass area opposite the bandstand.
