Glasgow Charles Rennie Mackintosh walking tours back for the whole summer

A Scotland-wide walking tour company have announced their popular Glasgow Charles Rennie Mackintosh tours are back for the whole summer.

The Glasgow Mackintosh Tours, by Walking Tours in Scotland, were started with funds from Experience Glasgow (People Make Glasgow) in collaboration with Mackintosh at the Willow.

Tour attendees are invited to explore the life, works and tales of Glasgow's most famous designer, architect and artist as they wander the streets of the city to experience and witness his lasting legacy.

Pit stops on the two-hour long tour include some of his most famous works that still stand to this day, such as his first married home, and some lesser known treasures along the way.

The tour takes place every Saturday during the summer and leaves from the Mackintosh Mural, situated outside the Clutha Bar on Clyde Street.

It costs £18pp, which includes the full tour and entry into the Mackintosh at the Willow exhibition.

All ages are welcome, with kids under 12 going free. For more info click here
