Glasgow Central Station to welcome visit of special HVO-powered locomotive tomorrow

Train fans are in luck with the news that a special HVO-powered locomotive is to pay a visit to Glasgow Central Station tomorrow (September 15).

The visit by rail logistics solutions company DB Cargo UK's loco ties in with Scotland's Climate Week, the annual event which helps raise awareness of the global climate emergency and celebrates Scotland’s leadership in taking action against climate change.

This year Scotland's Climate Week will also mark six weeks to go until the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, which set to be attended by The Queen and Pope Francis as well as nearly 120 heads of state and about 20,000 accredited delegates.
