Glasgow Central coffee spot offering visitors chance to leave free cuppa for others to enjoy

A Glasgow coffee spot is offering visitors the chance to leave a free cuppa for someone else to pick up.

Black Sheep Coffee, based within Glasgow Central station, have a free coffee board in place, where people can pay for a coffee and then pin a donated coffee card for others to take advantage of.

People who also have a loyalty card, which gives a free coffee once six have been paid for, can also take advantage of the board and pin the loyalty card to it for someone else to use instead.

One Glaswegian who noticed the free coffee board took to Twitter to praise the scheme.

They tweeted: "Saw this at Black Sheep Coffee in Glasgow Central. So, once you fill your loyalty card you can pin it for someone else to claim your free coffee OR you can also pay to donate a coffee to someone else.

"Seems like a nice idea especially coming up for the coldest time of year."

A spokesperson for Black Sheep Coffee told Glasgow Live: "The Black Sheep Coffee free coffee board is a core pillar of the business and is available in every single Black Sheep Coffee."
