Glasgow cafe creates 'Cooncil Wrap' full of childhood favourites including potato faces and turkey dinosaurs

A Glasgow cafe has whipped up another belter for the city's culinary encyclopedia in the form of the so-called ‘Cooncil Melt’.

The wrap, made by the gastronomic experts at Lunch Glasgow, contains a range of childhood favourites inside a white tortilla wrap.

Turkey dinosaurs, potato smiles, chicken dippers are all dressed underneath layers of curry sauce, cheese and Chinese 5-spice.

The latest innovation in cooking has split opinion among punters on social media- with some desperate to try it, while others have went as far as to describe it as ‘rotten’.

Alex Gilbert wrote: “I’d give that bad boy a go like.”

Jane Jackson commented: “That’s my worst nightmare meal.”

Stephen Paver said: “Has anyone sent this recipe to Jamie Oliver?”

More than 1,600 people have liked the post while 1,400 have shared it since the Anniesland cafe posted a picture of the wrap on Thursday morning.

It is unclear if this wrap will be available for customers to order.
