Glasgow cocktail fans have received what can only be described as a late Christmas present with the news that a city business has launched a new 'Ginsecco' prosecco and gin drink.
GinSecco have created the Ginsecco Blue, a unique blend of everyone's favourite Italian sparkling white wine with a dash of gin, infused with their blue cocktail mix.
Having operated their mobile prosecco business for the last four years in Scotland at everything from weddings to beer festivals, they came up with the new drink after their flavoured gin liqueur and prosecco cocktail proved to be hugely popular wherever they went.
About the new drink GinSecco told Glasgow Live: "We came up with the idea for the Ginsecco Blue late one night after a big event where we had to continually restock flavoured gin throughout the day to meet the demand for the prosecco cocktails.
"Finding the right ingredients was particularly difficult but after a two-year journey we finally arrived at the Ginsecco Blue product that we have released in a small trial batch."
Having already sold out on their first batch of 330ml cans of the new cocktail, GinSecco will have more for sale in the next few weeks - priced at £4 individually or £15 for four.
