It's easy to feel suspicious of Glasgow weather...even when the forecast is promising glorious sunshine and soaring temperatures.
But it looks like we really are in for a bit of a mini heatwave this week, with temperatures reaching highs of 23C today.
And it's only going to get better from there (for a little while, at least) as Thursday and Friday will see temperatures get even higher, hitting 25C.
It's all down to a Euro heatwave sweeping through the continent, with cities like Madrid and Rome expected to hit a sweltering 40C.
It'll come as no surprise that Glasgow isn't due to hit nearly these sweaty heights, you'll be glad to know.
Glasgow's due a bit of luck on the weather front, with this year's summer having been more than a little unpredictable so far.
We'd better enjoy it while we can, with the heatwave set to leave as quickly as it arrived. The rain will make its unwelcome reappearance on Sunday and temperatures will dip from there.
So make sure to enjoy the brief summer sunshine while you can before business resumes as usual.
