Glasgow bar will give you a free pint of Guinness if you have the same name as them

You could get your hands on a free pint of Guinness next week... But you'll need to be NEILLY lucky.

To celebrate their 25th birthday in true Irish fashion, O'Neill's are offering a pint of the black stuff on the house to customers with Neil in their name. (Shame I don't drink beer. Sob.).

If you have the first name, middle name or surname Neil, Neill, Neal, Neale or O'Neill, you can get your mitts on your free drink at their pubs in Union Street and Merchant Square. All you need to do is show your passport or driving licence.

There are 25 pints up for grabs – one per person, of course – and they're available from April 22-26. When they're gone, they're gone: So you better be quick.

Billy Finnigan, general manager at O’Neill’s Grand Central, said: “Myself and the whole team are really excited to celebrate 25 fantastic years of O’Neill’s with the people of Glasgow.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than to share our special day with fellow Neils. We’re looking forward to welcoming our wonderful guests to join with us in raising a glass and joining in the craic for this huge birthday celebration!”
