A Glasgow bar is celebrating the relaxation of hospitality restrictions by hosting its first ever Beer Pong Tournament this week.
The Howgait have teamed up with local brewer Glasgow Beer Works to put on the event in a bid to 'put the fun back into coming to the pub', as people return to bars after covid measures - the night had already been scheduled for December before having to be postponed.
The plan is for the tournament, which takes place this Thursday night at 6.30pm, to become a monthly event, with The Howgait hoping other pubs get involved in the competition too.

Fiona from The Howgait told Glasgow Live this morning: "We've been working with Glasgow Beer Works to think of events we can do to really get the fun back into coming to the pub as restrictions ease.
"This is the first time we're hosting, after having to cancel in December. We hope to build it into a monthly event, where we can have 'Howgait' teams who represent us and get other pubs involved to have proper tournaments!
"Hopefully we have enough interest from our student societies etc. and we can build from there!"
"No booking is needed, people can just show up at 6.30pm. As the event grows so will the prizes!"
Meanwhile, The Howgait are planning further events throughout the summer in tandem with The Beer Works team.
Fiona added: "We've got an amazing outdoor space, so people should look out for other fun stuff we'll be hosting throughout the summer like the 'Glasgow Paper Aeroplane Championships'.
