Glasgow bar set to host boozy drag brunch later this month with prizes up for grabs

Who said Sunday’s were a drag?

A boozy drag brunch is set for Glasgow’s city centre later this month, offering live entertainment along with a sample menu and cocktails.

If this peaks your interest, you can sashay down to Sloans on September 25 for an afternoon of cabaret and hilarity. Hosted by local drag divas Miss Tess and Frans Gender, Drag Me to Sloans will be held Glasgow’s ‘oldest’ bar - Sloans.

In the heart of the city, just off Buchanan Street, the event kicks off at 1pm. A second brunch is planned for Sunday, October 30.

Tickets for the event are priced at £25, and include the drag show as well as one brunch dish and cocktail. Queen's Miss Tess and Frans Gender will be joined by other special guest queen's every show offering lip sync performances, bingo, and interactive games.

Guests will also have the chance to win prizes for venues including Sloans, Brel and Maggie Mays. Organisers have said advanced booking is required, with seating reserved at the time of booking.
