A Glasgow bar is marking the exit of Prime Minister Theresa May with a specially themed cocktail... and it's the naughtiest thing they've ever done.
The Tory leader announced her resignation today in a speech outside Number 10 – and Lebowskis in the west end are toasting the end of her turbulent reign with their new White Russian 'Fields of Wheat'.
Bar staff describe it as a "strong and stable" blend of vodka, milk, Kahlua liqueur and cream topped with shredded wheat cereal – and it rings in at £5.50. At least it's not WeetaBREX, right guys?! (We'll show ourselves out.)
If you're not familiar with the phrase: May was asked during a 2017 interview on ITV's Tonight programme to share her 'naughtiest moment.'
She replied: “I have to confess, when me and my friend, sort of, used to run through the fields of wheat – the farmers weren't too pleased about that.”
This quote, of course, was absolute meme fodder and was even remixed into a half-decent house track at the time. Iconic.
