A 'serious' accident forced an overnight road closure of a busy road in the north of Glasgow.
Balmore Road was shut to traffic in both directions due to accident investigation work from Balmuildy Road (Summerston) to Auchenhowie Road (Milngavie).
The crash took place between Lambhill Cemetery and the roundabout at Dobbies Garden Centre prior to 1am this morning.
A full road closure was in place overnight for around five hours before the road was reopened to traffic around 6am this morning.

East Dunbartonshire Council confirmed that the road had reopened via Twitter, tweeting: "Road open: Please note, Balmore Road is now open again following a closure overnight."
Traffic information site INRIX confirmed it was a 'serious accident'.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
