Police have launched an investigation into a murder bid after a man was stabbed on Bridge Street in the early hours of the morning.
Officers were called to Tradeston at around 2.45 this morning after reports a man had been injured.
The 28-year-old was rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he's being treated for stab wounds.
Police confirmed they are treating the incident as attempted murder.
They are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the local area and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
Detective Inspector Darren Munogee at Cathcart Police Station said: "Around 2.45am on Tuesday, December 14, officers were called to a report of a man injured on Bridge Street, Glasgow.
"Officers attended and a 28-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for stab wounds.
"The incident is being treated as attempted murder. Officers are carrying out enquiries in the local area, viewing CCTV footage and following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this investigation.
"Any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist our enquiry should contact 101 with reference 0240 of December 14.
