Glasgow Airport welcomes new Jet2 flights to Northern Lights destination

Jet2 have announced they are returning popular flights from Glasgow Airport for next winter.

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks are bringing back one of their popular once-in-a-lifetime trips to Iceland from Glasgow Airport for Winter 23/24. The programme will give local holidaymakers even more opportunities to experience this incredible destination at the best times of year to experience the spectacular Northern Lights.

Glasgow residents can choose between five trips within the new programme - two trips in November 2023 and February 2024 as well as a three-night trip in March 2024.

The holidays on offer will give Glasgow holidaymakers the chance to experience everything Iceland has to offer, from a city getaway in Reykjavik, to the stunning Northern Lights or the geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls.

As Jet2 has pledged not to introduce any surcharges, customers can pick from a flight-only or a package holiday knowing they have the price locked in. The package holidays with Jet2CityBreaks offer a guided Northern Lights tour, 22kg hold luggage and transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of three or four-star hotels in Reykjavik.

All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by Jet2.com , and the full programme from Glasgow Airport is as follows:

  • Three-night trip from November 13 – November 16 2023
  • Four-night trip from November 16 – November 20 2023
  • Four-night trip from February 8– February 12 2024, perfectly timed for the February half-term
  • Four-night trip from February 29- March 4 2024
  • Three-night trip from March 18– March 21 2024
