After garnering a reputation as one of the toughest Gladiators ever, Lightning's step into the world of bodybuilding won't come as a shock to fans.
It's been 21 years since Kim Betts appeared on the hit TV show and, at the age of 49, looks incredible as the reigning Miss Universe.
With a 12k following on Instagram, Kim shares photos of her tanned self posing at bodybuilding competitions and showing off her abs in the gym.
Kim is also mum to son Lexus and lookalike daughter Skye, who she proudly wished a happy 19th birthday last week by sharing a collection of sweet photos.
She wrote: "HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY to my beautiful baby Girl! So much love babe @skyebetts."
Like her mum, Skye is often in the gym and competing in bodybuilding competitions and paid tribute to her last year during her birthday with a sweet message.
She wrote: "If I turn into my mother, or even half the woman she is, I’ll consider my life a successful one. I love you more than you’ll ever know!
"Your everything I desire to be, and to have you by my side no matter what path I chose/ or have chosen is more than I could have asked for! The woman I am today, everything I’ve achieved in life... is because Ive followed in the footsteps of a strong woman!"
Kim appeared on Gladiators from 1992 until 2000 - simultaneously becoming the longest-serving female star on the show - and was undefeated on Hang Tough in the UK arena.
The 49-year-old decided to leave the world of TV after her stint on the hit show and is now a successful businesswoman.
She now lives on a farm with her husband Francis and their children.
