Give us your Leeds United player ratings after Bielsa's men fall victim to Spurs comeback

Following Leeds United's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, it is time for supporters to hand out their player ratings.

The Whites led at half-time following an encouraging start to the game, but goals from Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg and Sergio Reguilon sent Leeds home empty-handed.

It was not the worst performance Leeds have delivered this season but was perhaps one of the most frustrating, as Marcelo Bielsa's men lost their grip on a game they had more than just a foothold in.

The early stages treated travelling supporters to a fearless display of attacking intent and grit, leaving onlookers unable to doubt whether Leeds deserved the lead Daniel James had fired them into.

However, the Whites looked increasingly disjointed as the second-half progressed and a much-improved Spurs fought their way back into the match.

Despite the disappointment, there were solid displays from the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Pascal Struijk, even though both had to operate in positions they do not usually play in.

The former began the afternoon in defence before being pushed into midfield and Struijk operated as a wing-back before returning to his home in the centre.

Liam Cooper also stood out, keeping Tottenham's array of attacking talent quiet for large spells and looking composed in possession.

Leeds' goal-scorer James was lively, whilst Adam Forshaw marshalled the midfield admirably before fading somewhat as Spurs grew into the game.

The defeat has left Leeds in 17th in the Premier League, two points clear of the relegation zone and two points adrift of Claudio Ranieri's Watford, who impressively disposed of Manchester United.
