'Give him a rest' - Nottingham Forest fans discuss potential changes for Wigan match

Nottingham Forest played their second game of the busy festive period on Sunday when they face Wigan Athletic.

The Reds got back to winning ways on Boxing Day with a 2-0 victory at Hull City.

They will be hoping to build on that when they take on strugglers Wigan at the City Ground (3pm).

Should head coach Sabri Lamouchi stick with a winning side, or look to freshen things up?

We asked Forest fans if they would make any changes. Here's what some of them said on our Facebook page...

Tom Robinson: No.

James Mark Swain: Just their underwear.

Wayne Chunk Palmer: No. Strongest team every game.

Adrian Nicholas: Keep a winning side.

Stephen McCubbin: If Jenkinson is fit I'd try Cash on the wing for a game.

Richard Ottaway: Watson is the man v big sides but not when we need to steamroller smaller teams. Save him for Chelsea (in the FA Cup).

Dawn Gill: I’d put Yates on for Watson and give him a rest and Ameobi on for Semedo. Too many sloppy passes.

Sam George: Why would you change a winning side? Team looked like it was back to its best at the start of the season so why change it? Only change I would expect would be (Samba) Sow if he isn’t fit.

Carl Forsman: Agreed Watson could use a rest; he’s more useful if we have less possession and Wigan is apt to tuck in...

Kieran Gaughan: We don’t need 2 holding midfielders at home. So replace one of them with Carvalho & play him in the 10 role. Use Ameobi off the bench again as much better use.
