2. Giuliani backs Trump

“I support Trump. I’m gonna vote for Trump,” former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani told the New York Post. It was not an official “endorsement”, mind you, Giuliani added.

3. Trump taps ‘convention manager’

Donald Trump has hired lobbyist Paul Manafort, whose clientele has included a company tied to Filipino dictator Ferdinand Marcos, as the person to get the campaign to 1,237 delegates.

4. Kasich pigs out

Ohio governor John Kasich popped up in a Bronx deli and downed two plates of spaghetti, half a huge sandwich, pasta fagioli and some wine. The deli was so proud they named a special after him on the spot.

5. Bill Clinton tangles with crowd

Protesters challenged Clinton on his 1994 crime bill and on Hillary Clinton’s legacy as secretary of state. One held a sign reading: “Hillary Clinton is a murderer.”
