Giroud starts while Kovacic returns - The Chelsea team Frank Lampard should pick vs Norwich

After the 3-0 hammering by Sheffield United on Saturday, Chelsea are back in Premier League action on Tuesday night against Norwich City.

The Canaries were officially relegated at the weekend and so have little to play for, however that could make them more dangerous going into the game.

If the Blues are going to get a top four spot at the end of the campaign, they have to take three points and keep the pressure on Leicester City and Manchester United.

With N'Golo Kante still injured, who should Frank Lampard pick for the match at Stamford Bridge? football.london's writers have their say.

Chelsea v Norwich: Frank Lampard preview press conference

Oliver Harbord - Chelsea correspondent

The Blues have to win, there is no question, and the players have to completely forget about the Sheffield United horror show, but that might come with some changes.

Mateo Kovacic should come back into the starting XI, having been on the bench and then an unused substitute at the weekend.

Olivier Giroud has to come back into the front line as well, with the Blues being inept going forward, as well as being poor without the ball as well.

That is where one change has to happen, with Antonio Rudiger coming back into the team, with Andreas Christensen having struggled.

Rudiger hasn't been at his best, but the Blues need a change once again and hope that it all works out.

Harbord's team: Kepa; James, Rudiger, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount; Willian, Giroud, Pulisic.

Alan Smith - Senior writer

After Saturday's debacle, expect Frank Lampard to make a bunch of changes but settling on a predicted line-up is tricky.

None of the centre back options seem too appealing but Kurt Zouma had been in decent form before Sheffield United so should retain his place with Toni Rudiger replacing the similarly unconvincing Andreas Christensen.

In a game where Chelsea are likely to spend a lot of time attacking, Reece James just gets the nod at right back despite questions over his defending, with Cesar Azpilicueta the only member of the defence who should feel assured of a place.

Jorginho will continue in midfield by virtue of no other option in a holding role, while Mateo Kovacic should start in place of a fatigued Ross Barkley if the Croatian is fit enough. If not that role should go to Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The only change in the front three should see Olivier Giroud come back in for Tammy Abraham.

Smith's team: Kepa; James, Rudiger, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Jorginho; Kovacic, Mount; Willian, Giroud, Pulisic.
