Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has landed a major new TV role on BBC's Morning Live.
The 39-year-old singer told fans she was delighted to be part of the daytime show, which she'll host alongside Gethin Jones, Rav Wilding and Strictly's Janette Manrara.
Taking to Instagram with a shot of her on the BBC set looking stunning wearing a long floral dress and black boots Kimberley wrote: "Very happy to announce that I’m joining the @bbcmorninglive family!
"I absolutely love being part of this warm, fun show and they have the BEST team! Looking forward to waking up with you guys… and @ravwilding, @gethincjones and @ @jmanrara of course!"
She also posted a pic of her and Rav with the caption: "Yes that is @jmanrara trying to get a good pic (swipe to 3) to document my first official day. Love her! See you tomorrow."
The mum-of-three has presented on the show before and recently returned to the programme for the first time since her Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding tragically died after losing her battle with cancer.
Kimberly spoke to Welsh presenter Gethin last week about how she'd been coping with the loss of Sarah just months after the birth of her son, Nate.
Gethin asked: "You were booked in with us at the start of the month, weren't you?
"But unfortunately the tragic news about Sarah Harding, your bandmate from Girls Aloud and of course a really close friend, meant that you had a couple of weeks off to sort it out and get your head around it."
Kimberley was clearly emotional and said: "It's been a really, really tough few weeks and, you know, it's still tough but I needed to just take that bit of time.
"It's nice to be out though, and I'm really happy to be here and it's the best distraction, so, yeah, I'm looking forward to it."
Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh is currently presenting Morning Live on a Friday as she scales back her days on the show while Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox is hosting on Mondays. A BBC spokesperson said: “Kimberley Walsh is hosting some episodes of Morning Live over the next two months, as Kym Marsh reduces her days to spend more time with her family.”
The singer recently took her new-born son and young family on an amazing trip to mega hot Dubai.
The former Girls Aloud star got away from it all after flying baby Nate and the rest of her brood for the relaxing break.
Kimberley and husband Justin Scott took, Bobby, six, and Cole, four, to the Middle East as the star continues to come to terms with the death of friend Sarah.
The family escaped the UK to bask in temperatures of more than 34C over the weekend as they got in some winter sun before the clocks went back.
Morning Live is on weekdays at 9.15am on BBC One.
