Girls Aloud keep 'promise' to Sarah Harding as Cheryl announces Primark pyjama range

Primark has teamed up with Girls Aloud for a new pyjama range to raise funds in memory of Sarah Harding.

Members of the band have created a design, with profits being donated to The Christie Charitable Trust and Cancer Research UK. Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh have joined forces with the retailer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Their former bandmate Sarah died in September of last year, aged just 39.

Cheryl posted some snaps of the pyjamas to Instagram on Tuesday. She said: "Before Sarah passed away, we promised her we would fulfil her wish of raising money for vital research to help determine young women between the ages of 29 and 40 who could be at risk of breast cancer with no genetic history. These pyjamas with @primark will raise a significant amount of money to help us achieve our promise to her.

"The PJ’s will be in all UK and ROI Primark stores from tomorrow. ALL proceeds raised will be split equally between The Christie Charitable Trust and Cancer Research UK. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth."

She was joined by her fellow Girls Aloud stars in the photos. The pyjamas are navy blue, designed with a white star pattern.
