Girlguiding bosses have launched an investigation into one of their commissioners after she allegedly posed with a gun and dominatrix gear.
Monica Sulley, 58, reportedly became a guiding Commissioner in July this year guiding young girls in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.
She has allegedly worked for Girlguiding, which is the national guiding organisation of the United Kingdom and the largest girl-only youth organisation nationwide.
However, her appointment has attracted criticism on social media after pictures emerged of her holding a gun and calling herself a 'mistress'.
She has since deleted her social media accounts - but screenshots of her posts went viral.
In one of the pictures, she was posing in a black-bondage style gear.
Another photo showed Ms Sulley dressed in a tight fitting black top holding a possible fake assault rifle with a holstered handgun hanging from her waist.
She was also seen in a third picture posing with a sword.
Now, Girlguiding bosses said they are looking into this as a "matter of urgency" following the serious backlash online.
It has also emerged that Ms Sulley's contact page has been deleted from the website.
Angela Salt, CEO of Girlguiding: “The safety and wellbeing of our members is our absolute priority.
"We follow rigorous recruitment and vetting procedures, have clear policies, and a volunteer code of conduct which volunteers are expected to follow to keep our members safe.
"Girlguiding is aware of concerns raised.
"We are looking into this as a matter of urgency and will provide the necessary support and action in line with our compliance procedures.”
