The girlfriend of the bouncer who died following a crush at a concert in London has paid tribute to “my absolute world”.
Gaby Hutchinson died in hospital on Monday aged 23 having been employed as a security guard during the O2 Academy gig in Brixton on Thursday.
It is thought that he became caught in the crush as people attempted to force their way inside.
Afrobeats star Asake was performing a third and final sell-out show at the venue but was only a few songs into the set before being forced to end the gig early.
Rebecca Ikumelo was recently named as the first woman who died during the incident while a third woman, 21, remains in critical condition in the hospital.
Gaby's girlfriend Phoebie Turley took to Facebook to post a heartbreaking message.
In a post she wrote: “My absolute world. I love you with my entire heart and soul” and added a number of heart emojis along with a picture of them together.
A subsequent image of Phoebie and Gaby together was captioned: “Best weekend of our little lives together.”
The posts attracted tributes from friends of the couple, with The Sun reporting one as writing: “Thinking of you & your families.”
Another added: “God bless Gaby.”
A third said: “Sorry to hear what’s happening sending love and thoughts.”
Gaby was among those rushed to hospital following the incident, with a 21-year-old woman remaining in a critical condition.
Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove of the Metropolitan Police said: "It is devastating news that a second person has lost their life following the events on Thursday.
"I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to Gaby's family at this unimaginably difficult time."
