The girlfriend of a young dad killed in crash said they "never wanted to be apart".
Jordan Yates, died on August 11 following a crash on Scafell Road in St Helens at around 2am. The 24-year-old's girlfriend, Leanne McQueen, paid tribute to her partner today and described him as having a "heart of gold".
The 30-year-old has set up a GoFundMe page to help Jordan's family with funeral and headstone costs. She said any other funds will go to the 24-year-old's young daughter, Ava-Grace.

Paying tribute to Jordan, Leanne told the ECHO : "Jordan was the most loveliest, happiest person you could ever meet. He was always the life and soul of the party. He would do anything for anybody, big or small.
"If you needed anything he would be the first person there for you. He's just amazing, no faults about him at all. He was an amazing dad to his daughter."
Leanne said the couple had been together for three years and "were always in each others company". She added: "He was just amazing, very caring. He could never do enough for me. We always used to go out all the time together for food and other bits and bobs. We were always in each others company, we never wanted to be apart from each other."

Jordan was a keen boxer which he had been doing since childhood and also had an interest in cars. Leanne said: "He did boxing for the majority of his childhood, Jordan did it for a few different clubs and he always gravitated back towards it and started to get back into it as well.
"Jordan started to go back training. He was very into his fitness and loved going to the gym. He did weekly PT sessions and into cars as well, he loved going to car shows."
Writing on the GoFundMe page, Leanne said Jordan had a "gorgeous, infectious smile" and "amazing sense of humour". She said: "Jordan was the type of lad who would do anything for anyone, he had a heart of gold. Anyone who had the pleasure in knowing him fell in love with his wild personality, amazing sense of humour and his gorgeous, infectious smile.
"Let’s all pull together and donate anything you can to help make this send off special and one to remember. All funds raised will go towards the funeral costs and headstone, anything left over will go to his daughter Ava-Grace.
"We love you Jordan, forever and always."
