A seven-year-old girl with Down's Syndrome had her day made following a trip to the park.
The girl visited Vale Park, Wallasey on April 17 and her mum was thrilled with what happened. She explained that her daughter is normally treated differently by other children due to her being seen as 'different'.
However on this trip to the park, the seven-year-old, along with her 15-year-old sister made some friends at the park and were thrilled by the experience. The girl's mum took to Facebook to share her delight, in a post she said: "My 15-year-old daughter took her little sister who is seven and also has Down's Syndrome to Vale Park this afternoon.

"Normally when we take her other kids will stare at her and walk away when she tries to play but today another little girl actually took the time to want to play and when she realised that my daughter couldn’t climb the slide very easily she said it’s ok I'll play down here with her instead.
"My little girl came home to me signing ”Friend” so if this was your little girl I would just like to say a massive thank you for teaching your child all about inclusion and not to notice the differences some people may have as it’s not very often this happens."
The story appeared to touch many hearts as people rushed to the comments to share their nice messages. One comment said: "That's a lovely story teach kids proper manners and respect the rest will follow kindness comes from a good heart."
While another added: "This is so lovely to read. I hope your little girl has some beautiful memories of this sweet soul who played with your Angel"
