Finding your soulmate isn’t exactly easy these days. With dating apps offering an endless supply of almost-relationships, more people are swiping into situationships than happily-ever-afters.
But one woman says she may have found her forever person—soon after an Etsy witch described him.
What exactly did the Etsy witch predict?
In the video, which has since gotten over 256,900 views, TikTok user Ashley Watson (@existentialashley) shared her experience using a psychic service on Etsy.
It opens with a dreamy scene: Watson and two friends sitting around a fire on a leafy balcony.
“On November 10, 2024, my friends and I asked an Etsy psychic to draw and tell us about our soulmates…” she wrote on-screen.
They sit down together in front of a TV, projecting the Etsy order from a phone. “Let’s gooo,” one of them says as they open the file. The result? A (likely AI-generated) sketch of a man with a beard and pale eyes.
“This was mine…” Watson wrote, showing the picture.
She then adds the text from the psychic’s reading—an attached note describing her future soulmate, including when she might meet him.
On-screen, she circles the part that reads: “You may encounter your soul mate within the next 0–3 months.”
Then she met him. One week later
The next clip cuts to a real-life guy—curly hair, a beard, and a face that looks a lot like the sketch.
“I met him exactly one week later…” she wrote. “And we are undeniably soulmates.”
To close the video, she shows him smiling in bed, seemingly on his birthday, as she hands him a tray of breakfast.
“So what do you think?” she asks viewers. “Does my boyfriend look like what the psychic drew?”
In the caption, she adds, “lmk if you want the psychic’s deets.”
Yes, people are paying psychics to draw their future partners
These soulmate sketch services have become a TikTok trend in recent years, with countless users ordering psychic drawings from sellers on Etsy.
The listings typically include a digital sketch—often clearly AI-generated—and a short description of the person’s supposed soulmate, including when and how they might meet, just like Watson described.
That’s not the only psychic service you can find on Etsy. You can order an ancient oriental blessing for over $200, a pet reading for under $5, or a lost item reading for around $30.
Commenters are obsessed with this love story
People flooded the comments, either asking for the psychic details or sharing their own experiences—some magical, some not.
“Gonna need the deets on the psychic rn lol,” one person wrote.
“Yeah I did the same years ago, never met him,” another admitted.
Someone else pointed out just how viral this psychic’s shop had gone: “650 people bought in the last 24 hours omg.”
Others related deeply to the idea. “I described my perfect guy on August 21, 2014,” one user shared. “A year later on that date I met my husband.”
